Piezoelectric Actuators

Introduction

An actuator is a device that produces motion in response to an electrical signal.

Piezoelectric actuators use the inverse piezoelectric effect and are most often
used in applications requiring small displacement with ultra-fine control.
A wide range of actuator designs are possible depending on the specific force
and displacement requirements of the application.
