BM941

BM941 - Lead Metaniobate

Overview
BM941 has a low mechanical Q and low acoustic impedance. These ceramics are made of modified lead metaniobate formulations. These materials are used in seismic sensors, medical and non-destructive evaluation applications, where low Q and clean impluse responses are required. The material has a higher dielectric constant than BM901 material.

Features

  • Low QM
  • Clean impulse response
  • Low acoustic impedance

Applications

  • Immersion work in NDE
  • Thickness measurement
  • Non-destructive evaluation (NDE)
  • Transducers
