BM901

BM901 - Lead Metaniobate

Overview
BM900 series of ceramics is made of modified lead metaniobate compositions. These materials are used primarily in probes for non-destructive evaluation (NDE) where low QM and clean impulse response are required. These materials also have a low dielectric constant, making them useful for high-frequency work.

Features

  • High Curie temperature
  • Low Qm

Applications

  • Non-destructive evaluation (NDE)
  • Thickness measurement
  • Medical ultrasound
  • Broadband and high temperature applications
